I've been reading Weight Loss Boss, it's a good book, weight loss through a guys eyes.  So once again I am motivated to lose these now 70 extra pounds vs. the 50 extra I started out with.  So I have decided that I am taking the decisions out, it's the only way.  As long as I don't have to make a choice I won't make a bad one...at least that is the theory.  Hopefully this will get me through the first few weeks and then I will gradually start adding choices.  We shall see.  Today is day one, so far so good..it's only 7:30AM....I will have my Total cereal with skim milk and a piece of fruit.  I am also going to try Greek Yogurt today...I hate yogurt so we will see if Greek is going to do the trick.  For lunch I'll have a salad with tuna and another piece of fruit etc...the days doesn't deviate much from there.

We have had boz and mia, friends Italian Greyhounds, staying with us...they are too funny.   Can you find them in the picture?    Not a great picture since I took it with my phone....don't mind how messy RJ's room is either...


RJ starts school on Monday...can't believe it.  Jeff goes for surgery on his elbow in September and I'm not sure what I am doing with my shoulder yet...have to go back and see the Dr.  The cortisone shot didn't work as well this time....kinda sucks.  

Amber is working and doing well I guess, we don't see her much so I have no real idea. 

Another week begins...with vaccuuming and cleaning.  I will probably mow the lawn today too!!! 

Healthcare

Healthcare is weighing heavily on my mind...it is that time of year that I need to start making some decisions about what I will choose as far as options for next year. 

So many changes, they want to charge me for having Jeff on my insurance...a surcharge, so no i pay not only for the premium but a surcharge, that seems a little excessive.  My plan is 90/10, it will go up 30% this year....absolutely crazy.  It seems that if they want you to stop using something that they should just stop offering it instead of bleading you.

Jeff has one more surgery this year and now i too will have another surgery this year in an attempt to get it out of the way and be able to drop the insurance down to 80/20 to save money. 

I'm tired of hearing from my company that I need to make better choices, yet I pay for those that make poor choices as well....i'm not just paying for me, i'm paying based on the entire country!!!  Filled with obesity (which is a class i fit itn) and diabetics and poor choices....I guess if it doesn't hit us in the pocket books we as American's don't really take it seriously....because until now, I didn't either.

Just catching up....

Wow, it's been a while since I blogged, but I'm back...the summer is almost over and school starts in a few weeks.  Unbelievable really.  We of course have not done all the things I said I wanted to do this summer but....that's okay it's been a nice lazy summer for sure.  I haven't lost the weight I want to...tomorrow is a new day right???  I'm getting there.   We've joined the YMCA and I am vary proud of RJ, he goes 4 or more days a week to work out and to swim...and he rides his bike the 2.5 miles there and the 2.5 miles back!!!  He's Awesome!!

A few weeks ago Jeff, RJ and I went to see....Sparticus.  Sparticus is our Rental GrandBaby...yes I said it GrandBaby.  Kellen had her baby on June 11th...I was hoping for my birthday but that didn't happen.  Jeff actually guessed the day he'd be born exactly...so Jeff and Garrett are in cahoots for sure.  Sure did start early.  Here is uncle RJ with baby Garrett.

Summer is coming to an end too quickly, Lindenfest is next weekend the last hoorah before school starts....this white stuff will be here sooner than we think!!
